Playdate.

Avery had a wonderful Friday. We got to spend our day with little Miss Olivia. We rushed out the door to meet Olivia and her dad (hence Avery in her diaper), loaded the girls up and headed back home for an awesome breakfast of french toast, eggs and strawberries.

Here's the eating situation. Avery in her highchair and Miss Olivia in the bumbo. For the record, Olivia did not get one bit dirty during breakfast while Avery massacred hers.
Here we are at the park building sand cake and ice cream cones. This picture is during our lunch break.
Here we are headed home from the park. Both girls passed out five minutes after being buckled in.
We had such an awesome time with Miss Olivia, we can't wait for her to come back again.

Avery is getting so funny. When I ask her to smile this is the look she gives me. She makes me laugh.

Avery had a great weekend. Jack came over and accompanied her to the splash park. It took them both a little while to get used to it but when they did they went to town.


This water can't be bad for you right? Rylee drinks it all the time and she SEEMS to be fine.

Joys

1) Open mouth Avery kisses. I LOVE EM. They give me goose bumps when she slobbers all over my face and neck. Kinda gross but I LOVE IT.

2) Watching Duane and Avery interact. Avery loves her dad, and she squeals everytime she see him. I love those two.

3) Christmas. I love christmas. I love the weather and all the warm fuzzy feelings that come with it and the awesome music. Nothings better than walking into my house with a beautiful christmas tree, smelling reminants of my awesome cooking mixed with fresh pine sap and feeling the warmth of a soon to be warm cozy fire (coming fall 08).

Fears

1) Crashing into the ocean in a airplane only to survive the crash and eaten alive by a sharks. YIKES....super scary. This kind of shit haunts me everytime I get on a plane

.2) A family member dying. I don't even want to think about it

.3) Having plastic surgery and coming out looking like the Lion Lady.

1) Blogging

3) Going through model homes

Random surprising facts

1) I'm scared of the ocean. I refuse to swim in it.

I just wanted to share this birthday greeting from my bro Jeb and his kids. Isn't he so clever.

Avery turned 1

I cannot believe my little girl is one!!! Where has all the time gone. I'm freaking out here. I do have one advantage over the rest of you though, I have stayed up all night with her for going on 7 months now and still going strong (yes LZ, I did read your book). That means I spend twice the amount of time with my baby as the rest of you do. This proves I am THE superior mother . Avery had an awesome birthday, celebrated with family and friends. She got lots of cool gifts and produced lots of cool memories. We are so lucky to have such great friends and family. Thanks to everyone who came (and tried to come...Becca) She can't wait to see her Na'Na' in a couple weeks and do it all over again with my family (she's finally coming home from Nantucket-Yeah).

Avery had dirt for the first time today. She loved it. She also found a rock that she liked to lick the dirt off of. Her dad helped her out every once and a while by giving her water to wash the dirt down.

On your mark.......

Duane, Angel, Jane (missing) and Becca did another race this weekend. Sports-Am sponsored a 8k race up city creek canyon that was half trail half road. Becca smoked everyone, Angel and Duane finished together and Jane decided the race was too easy and ran an extra 2 miles.

Fun with friends

Avery got to play with her friends at the splash park again today. Olivia was a brave girl today and ventured away from her mom. Rylee was as wild as ever and Avery did not move off my lap until the end of our play date.

Olivia loooves her glasses. She looks hot.

Rylee wanted to see what the sunglasses were all about.
